My heart became hot within me. As I mused, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: "O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am!"

Jared, I am overjoyed for your family. I was so happy I could make it to the ceremony. It was a wonderful service. I must also comment that I am happy to see you have a blog yourself. I might learn something from your gift of intellect. :)

As the Nona (grandma) of this little one, I also want to say how wonderful a day it was! What an overwhelming blessing to consider God's covenant promises to us and to our children and to our children's children. Isabel comes from a Christian heritage on both sides of her family and she has indeed been set apart as a covenant child from before the foundations of the earth. Praise God for his mercy to us throughout all generations!
