Happy Reformation Day!
My heart became hot within me. As I mused, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: "O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am!"

Tamara - we used to celebrate Reformation Day in Evansville! Remember the games and dressing up as Bible characters? It was one of my favorite things of the year. I can't believe you don't remember that... Actually, I think that was the last time I even thought about bobbing for apples before last Saturday. hehe.
Jared, this is a bit 'out of the blue' on here, but I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Sabbath and how one should spend it. I've been talking to a couple people about it lately. What do you think God is saying through Isaiah in chapter 58 (mainly vs. 13-14) when He says "nor finding your own pleasure...etc" What exactly is our 'own pleasure'?
